PROGRAM BENEFITS FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES:

HEALTHY COOKING SKILLS Students learn to prepare nutritious meals using fresh ingredients, building lifelong culinary skills they can share with their families at home.

NUTRITION EDUCATION Students gain understanding of food groups, portion sizes, and making healthy choices to combat childhood obesity and diet-related health issues.

LITERACY & MATH INTEGRATION Cooking activities incorporate reading recipes, measuring ingredients, and following instructions—reinforcing core academic skills in an engaging, hands-on way.

DANCE & FITNESS ACTIVITIES Physical movement and dance sessions promote active lifestyles and help students understand the connection between nutrition and physical health.

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING Collaborative cooking fosters teamwork, patience, joy and confidence while creating a supportive environment where students can express themselves.

FAMILY ENGAGEMENT Take-home ingredients and recipes extend learning beyond the classroom, encouraging families to cook and eat healthy meals together.

CULTURAL CUISINE and Dance EXPOSURE Students explore diverse culinary traditions, promoting cultural awareness and appreciation while expanding their palates global engagement in dance.
